Gailes is an attractive, long course, with interesting bunkers, and minimal water. The club is a member's club where membership is currently open for Gentlemen, Ladies and Juniors but also caters for social players at various times of the week as well as many Sunday mornings (social clubs) and also after 3pm on Saturday and Sundays. Luke Prosser, the friendly PGA professional, offers lessons at reasonable prices as well as junior development clinics
