15 November 2022We had been informed by one of our clubs pennants players that Wantima was a very good course so expectations were high and we booked in 4 players on a Thursday morning with the "special Pizza deal" included. Tee off time was accurate and the course was very busy with social clubs and members. The greens had been renovated recently and would have been much better if mown. They were quite slow and very bumpy. Two women members continually hit up on our group without apology which was very rude and poor etiquette as the course was full. Fairways were quite good although there was a lot of GUR and bare ground. Our group all agreed that Wantima would be much better to play when conditions were wetter and the greens mowed shorter. The course is quite tight and challenging especially for first time visitors, so hole maps at each tee box would have helped. The "Pizza deal" was honoured although it may have been discontinued? 6 out of 10 for the course as we played it. 1 out of ten for the two members who hit up on our group - very ignorant. 10 out of 10 for the bar staff and chef - thanks.

21 February 2022Moderate in length but challenging in layout. Some narrow fairways with OB on one side and trees on both. Greens were rolling steady and the course was in terrific shape. Nice layout with a couple of reachable par 5’s if you’re accurate with a long iron. Two driveable par 4 doglegs for the longer hitting as well. The voucher represents wonderful value.
